Hickory Tavern closed four locations in one day
On Sunday, August 23, Hickory Tavern closed four locations at once: three in the Charlotte, North Carolina area - Mooresville, Huntersville, and the Providence Road location in Charlotte itself - and one in Columbia, South Carolina, on Senate Street in the Vista district. The closures came roughly a year after Winter Park, Florida-based Artistry Restaurants acquired the casual-dining chain, and were announced two days later, on August 25. The chain continues to operate its remaining locations.
